Raven stands for magic, prophesy, and creation. He holds in his beak the power of the unknown realms, and is a messenger for the Otherworld. But he has a less serious side, playing many a prank and delighting in disorder.
This original design by Amanda Fisher contains three Ravens, curving into the center and playfully nipping each others' legs. Each Raven has a different Celtic design on its wing.
The original design was hand-carved in wax and cast in silver. Each medallion is cast in sterling silver using the lost wax process. The detail is accented with patination using liver of sulphur, a traditional technique that darkens the metal, then the surfaces are hand-polished to a soft, brushed shine. A sterling split ring is included to receive a chain or cord. The medallion is 1.25 inch (32 mm) in diameter.
I would be happy to attach the bail so that the Raven with the maze pattern or knotwork wing is on top, for a small additional charge for the custom work. Pins or other forms are also possible; please e-mail me with your request.
Each Raven Triskele comes in a small box and includes an anti-tarnish square and a small flyer about the design.
