Raven stands for magic, prophesy, and creation. He holds in his beak the power of the unknown realms, and is a messenger for the Otherworld. But he has a less serious side, playing many a prank and delighting in disorder.
This original design by Amanda Fisher contains three Ravens, curving into the center and playfully nipping each others' legs. Each Raven has a different Celtic design on its wing.
The original design was hand-carved in wax and cast in silver. Each medallion is cast in bronze using the lost wax process. The antiqued finish details the design with patination that darkens the metal, then the surfaces are hand-polished to a soft, brushed shine. A brass split ring is included to receive a chain or cord. The medallion is 1.25 inch (32 mm) in diameter.
Each Raven Triskele comes in a small box and includes a waxed linen cord and a small flier about the design.
